Great job! Beautiful boat, it reminds me of our 1985 red and cream S&S I grew up with. Suffice to say I have a soft spot for S&S boats so I just had to get the next best thing (as I really wanted a EFl engine). You are sure to have a great summer with an awesome boat like that.

Thanks guys!

I did all the grunt work myself, had a little help on the buffing and polishing and after she was totally gutted I had the carpet and seats redone by a local shop here on the southside of Chicago. There is a thread around here with the information somewhere. Of all the work done I still had the most fun doing the teak. As you can see from the first picture it was blacker then night and had moss growing all over it. I never thought it would turn out but after countless sandings and oiling she looks like new.

Dont be afraid of these boats, if you get a solid 83 and up with fiberglass in good shape they are really not hard to work on and you just need a small garage. The trailer is next on my list its time for new life there too!
