Trailer Tires... Which are best?

I would have went with Maxxis just so I wouldnt have to say "I have greenballs," but no one in Bakersfield has them in stock. So Im on my way to get a set of Greenballs... chukel.

Let us know what you think of them after you put a few miles on them. Is the brand name tow master? ( on your green balls)

Greenballs, so far so good. Just a few trips to Lake Buena Vista about 30min drive each way (Once or twice a week). Will be going to Shaver Lake for Fathers Day Weekend. That is about a 3 1/2 hour drive each way. If anyone else will be up in that area come say hi, we'll be at camp Edison.

Sure, if by excellent service you mean installing three 215 and one 205 tires on my trailer, getting charged for new stems and balancing @ $81 which they didn't do, and having some kid jackknife my truck/camper combo into my X-Star and then lie about it to his boss saying I told him I loaned my boat to my brother-in-law and the damage happened then (My BiL lives in Germany, so that would be a nifty trick and the the chances of me loaning my boat out to anyone, well, there's just no chance of that -You guys know how silly that claim is). Sorry for the rant and not doubting your good experiences at LS Boater, but holy crap my most recent experience with them (last week) was un-f'n-believable.

Back on track now. Maxxis Maxxis Maxxis. Love them on my dirt bikes. Love them even more on my heavy race trailer. No opinion on the Greenball tires, but if available at your local Costco (and based on what I've heard here), sounds like they are definitely worth a look.

If the tires do not specifically say "ST" DO NOT but them on your trailer.

3600 miles on the Maxxis so far, no problems.

I will have to replace my tires and rims soon...saltwater got them. 215r75 14....Bias or Radial?....I only haul 30 miles at a time...single axle trailer....

If you have room, I'd think 15" wheels would be more appropriate for a single. You can more easily get higher load ratings than those commonly available in 14"
