To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

70 retired, born and raised in San Antonio. I have always wanted a Mastercraft. I've had a Cobalt for almost 40 years. Still do. Now that I'm retired, I recently bought a pristine 1994 190 Prostar Lt1 PowerSlot. Serious skiing is at the top of my "Bucket List". In my younger days I skied behind
the really fast V-drives on our local lakes. Those boats could run 80 mph and up. I spent a year and a half in the Chicago area when I was in my mid-twenties so I know exactly where you are coming from. I put an ad in the Wall Street Journel to get out of that area. It worked. Good Luck!!!
