Prop replacement

My 99 prostar 205 currently has a 13" prop that needs replacing. Is there another 4 blade prop size that will yield good performance while improving gas mileage?

Welcome. There has been a lot of prop discussion on here lately. Depending on what you do most behind the boat, a CNC'd 3 blade may be preferable to a hand finished 4 blade. I suggest calling OJ about their XMP or Acme about it's CNC'd 3 blade props. In the case of the acme, the surface area of the blades of its 3 blade and its four blade are the same.

I agree with East Texas Skier, you should contact Eric Johnson at OJ Props and he will provide a recommendation for your boat. I am in the process of purchasing a new prop and Eric recommended their 13 x 11.5 LC 3 Blade XMP for my 2004 X9. He was very helpful in answering my questions.
