Hi,
have mastercraft cruise installed in a boat, whats the deal with upgrade to a perfect pass or zero off system. Is there a benefit in upgrading the standard system, any one have done so and costs thanks |

I looked at it for my 06 X1. Was going to cost me about $1700 dealer installed. I'm not too mechanically inclined so I haven't tackled it myself. DIY install was about $1200. Everyone who has it loves it but for me the MC cruise has worked well enough I haven't chosen to upgrade.

I've read that one of the best benifits to the stargazer is the better low speed pull for surfing.

other than MC cruise being REALLY finicky (you really have to know how to use it and takes awhile to figure out… not user-friendly like PP) I haven’t seen much benefit to upgrading to PP, especially for 12 Hondas.
I’d buy yourself a new OJ 14.25x14.5 prop and a few new fatsacs (if you don’t have those already). Better use of the money, that prop makes alllllll the difference in the world. |
