Looks like a Tristar to me but I am no expert.

I agree it looks like a TriStar that was pimped out for someone like Blair the Barefoot'n Banana.

Yeah, a 454 equipped TriStar. See the size of that engine box? One thing for sure, that sucker is bright!

they did make a "Barefoot 190" it was a closed bow tristar w/ a 454 BBC. That add says a SBC. I'm not sure they made a SBC BF190. maybe they did though.

I agree with Doo, they made a Tri Star 190 with a 454 and it had the barefoot 190 decals on it. The small block chevy was an option for the Tri Star and the 351 was the standard motor for the Tri Star 190s.

Thanks for the clarity guys! Now is this a rare boat? And $14,500cdn, sounds like it may need an engine, think it's worth that kind of cash?

I think this boat has been discussed here or somewhere else before in the past 3-4 years. I believe the original 454 had gone missing and replaced with the SBC. I am quite certain of this.

I'm not sure but if you get the hull numbers you might be able to contact MC and they could tell you for sure what it was when it left the factory.

If it needs a new engine, I'd say no.

It is a sharp-looking boat. Love the lines. Don't care much for the yellow though. The need for the new engine would be a deal killer for me.
