Please Help Potential Purchase need advice NEW TO MASTERCRAFT

Hello To All. I am new to the mastercraft community. I have the opportunity to purchase a Mastercraft Maristar 230VRS 330HP Engine with the following options

1. SS 4 Blade Prop
12 Speaker CD/Stereo with 5 remote areas to control with IPOD control
Wake Board Tower with Wakeboard holders Tower Speakers, Tower Lights
Fuel Injection
Teak Platform
Additional sun deck bow pad filler
Custom Made Full Snap Cover
MasterCraft Custom Trailer

The boat has 500 hours on it.

The only thing not working on the boat is the speedometer. It was replaced, but it did not fix the problem.

On a scale of 1 to 10 the Exterior of the boat is a 9 (Excellent condition)
The interior is an 8 out of 10 (no rips, tears, in anything. Couple of chips and scratches nothing major at all.

The best price the seller has given me is $21,000.00.

He will pay for a full diagnostic on the engine and an oil change

Is there anything specifically I need to look for.

He did have the water pump replaced within the last 90 days.

I have access to the mechanic that does all the maintenance and I will keep the same mechanic.

Please help in any way that you can.

Seems like a fair enough deal to me. Looks to be in good condition. The 330HP LTR engine is a solid performer and if it checks out with the mechanic you should be good to go. 500 hours is probably about average for the age of the boat. I wouldn't worry too much about the speedometer not working. I would recommend upgrading to Perfect Pass Stargazer and it will solve that problem and many others.

Looks like a very nice boat. It has the engine upgrade, stereo upgrade, trailer upgrade, good interior and average hours. Add perfect pass and you'll have a very solid performer.

There was another guy on here looking at a 2001 X Star with a 1000 hours, standard engine, standard trailer and an interior that was going to need repair for $25K. This looks like a much better deal at a fair price.
