I don't think that anyone ever said bikini's only. There are some great looking swimsuits that aren't bikini's. Just a little more modest. I like that parade pic! Keep the thread ALIVE!

Is that at the Hale Koa? We stayed there for two weeks, what a blast. Didn't feel like it was a military hotel at all.

Wow Ted you are close, but it is the Hilton Hawaiian Village right next door to the Hale Koa. I had my wedding reception at the Hale Koa and had many a Christmas party there. It's a great place. While we're on the subject have you been to Shades of Green in Disney World? Same deal, military only pay by rank, and it is awesome right in the park.

I haven't done Shades of Green, we've been to Tokyo Disneyland and Paris Disneyland (twice) they're all the same. I did get a chance to stay at the New Sanno in Tokyo, it's $40 a night in the heart of downtown Tokyo where the other hotels go for at least $200.

I've also been to AFRC in Garmisch, pretty basic a tad bit better than most AFB billetings and the food was on par for any given NCO club but again cheap digs in an awesome location.
