Yes, it was on the verge of sinking but fortunately for the owner they were able to tow it over to the beach before it sunk any farther. Our particular party spot is on the river and there is a highway which passes over the river where everybody usually ties up. That particular day about 20-25 boats decided to tie up approximately 75ft in upstream of the concrete pillars for the overpass. Low and behold the 6 or 7 anchors holding all of these boats lifted and before anyone knew it the whole group was 10ft from the pillars. Some boats were able to get away but that centurion was the first boat that wrapped around the concrete. It had a minimum of 15 people standing on it when it got stuck around the pillar the current began pulling it down. Left rear locker started filling up with water and that was the result. There were a few other boats involved, drunk people falling in the water, a surreal moment for sure. Some people never fail to amaze. Amazing no one drowned that day...

I wanta go there too..lol.. Other places must have some gret places to boat and to just go and hang with other boats "in the water". Up here people rush to get the boats in and then rush to get the boats out for the day. Everyone wonders how I can spend a day on the water. Where else should one be when the wind is low and the sun is out. Matter of fact been known to spean some warm rainy days out there. I want to go where boaters like to hang. Give me some good ideas for a vacation
