Engine Box Lifting Cylinders

Can anyone advise as where to get replacement lifting cylinders for the engine box and the spotters seat? The phone number printed on my cylinders is no longer working.

I bought them at Napa about a month ago. They were able to cross reference from the old units. I think all 3 cost me a little over $50.

Thanks MarkP. The web site had all the info plus a cross reference chart to NAPA part #'s. Cost is around $28 each.

For the observer seat, I bought mine from a MC dealer for $11. Might be a better deal than $28.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

Wow, goes to show you how standardized the dealers are. The dealer here wanted more than $11 for just the bracket! His price on the shock itself was over $30!

Prices at Napa & Overtons were considerably less.

If memory serves, I did not buy a new bracket. Just the shock.
