Thanks! We will be putting it in the water this friday (Lake Conroe). I hear that it is really nice durring the weekdays, not as many other boats on the water. Will be a good time for our first trip!
I am still trying to round up the neccessary esentials that need to be on the boat (Life Vests, Bumpers, Rope, Paddle,First Aid Kit,etc...) I did't realize there were so many little things to get! Friday can't get here quick enough! |

Sweet Pic of Noah!!!
Yes, the extra gear does cost a lot! We got our boat for about $14k and spent another $5k in goodies (some required, some not... )

Great looking boat! I especially like the picture of your passengers and one is already crashed out on the seat... in the driveway nonetheless.

Maybe put up a want add on Craiglist for the USCG gear. Got to be some people with that stuff laying in the garage. I sold my extra stuff that I didn't need at a garage sale cheap. Not sure how strict the fish cops are or the rules there, but I've never been asked for a paddle upon inspection, but plan on showing them a ski if they ask for one. Don't forget an air horn. All my inspections they look for the req'd amount of life vests (sometimes based on cap of boat, others based on how many on board), fire extinguisher, air horn, registration and throwable cushion.

Ouch Lake Conroe is always a rough ride. You can find some flat water is you go north or out by Del Lago. Good Luck and nice boat
