Camshaft replacement 92 PS190 HO

Anyone know from experience if I can slide the camshaft out without being blocked by the ski pole? I've done this a 100 years ago on a couple old Chevelles. Any pitfalls I should be aware of? Thanks to all who contribute to this great site.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

I'll answer my own question. Yes the ski pole blocks the removal. Two U-bolts under the floor. Easy removal.

I do not remove the pylon. If you have followed some of my threads you can see pics to prove that the pylon is not in the way. I have a 93 190 and the pylon and engine are located in the same place. If you want to remove it you can but it is not necessary.
