'93 ProStar Part #'s needed...and soon...

Hey all,
I'm in need of a bit of help from the '93 owners. MasterCraft here in So.Cal keeps sending us the incorrect parts. I need numbers if anyone has them. Our book does not even list the part numbers. Here is what I need:
Steering Cable
Fuel sensor in tank...the one that sends the level to the dashboard
and..the Fuel Pump

We are really tired of putting bucks out and constantly getting the wrong parts. Now I get to drive 2+ hours in LA and Riverside traffic to take all this c@#$ back. Hopefully you guys have some very valuable information for me.

Betsy

Personally I'd call these folks and if they have it, they'll hook you up. Just tell them your make and model. They'll do the rest.... Great folks with which to do business...

Steering cable:

As for the sender, they don't have the 90's model part but address it as such. I'd bet they know where to get it and the correct part ID...

As for the fuel pump... I don't know your engine but they have fuel pumps for a buncha' makes..

Sporty...

Well, the steering cable looks exactly the same as the one MC sent us. The problem is ours is round and not rectangular at the end piece. They look nothing alike. It is the 19' cable. Have you ever had to replace your cable? As I understand it, ours has lasted twice as long as it should have. B

Betsy, skidim did not have the fuel sender for your boat when I got mine last year. Lex at Rambo Marine's parts department has always been easy for me to get on the phone and is great to deal with on parts.

If you call MC directly, they can provide you with part numbers as well, which you can then relate to whatever dealer you use.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

I knew you'd come through! Just had to wait for you to return from the weekend. Hope you had a great Holiday. B Do you have MC's # or do I need to search the net?
