Perfect Pass Problem......

Took the boat out on Sunday..... Ran like a champ with the exception of the Perfect Pass (2005 Prostar 197TT).....

This is what was displayed on the gauge all day.... The unit had power as it made beeping noises... When the buttons were depressed they made noises as well....

Was on the water for about 4 hours and the last five (5) minutes it started working again...

Anyone experience similar problems with theirs?

Any suggestions/recommendations on how I can fix this?

Thanks,

Somewhere in the system settings, there is a voltage reading. Perfect Pass is very power sensitive. If the voltage drops below a certain point to the system, it will go haywire.

When you call Perfect Pass to ask them about this, they will want this # from you.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

I called Randy today and got an answer in less than 5 minutes

Why used the out dated email when a cell phone is seconds away?
Thanks Randy, although I hope your prediction is off and the servor last for a several seasons, not weeks.
I did a servor test and it was locked up. I had to use priers to free it, but now seems to work normal and got all of my times within tolerances, 28, 32, 34 & 36.

Simple answer georgea0731.... I was at work and could NOT afford to be tied up on the phone for any extended period of time! I hope this answers your question.....

Because cell phone calls to Canada can get expensive.

Never thought of that & don't want to see the cell bill

You guys are great. I just notice some folks use unpersonal emails when they could just call and talk (forum included - ha).
I also wanted to point out the great personal on the spot customer service.
