I hate my OEM bimini!
Does anyone else hate the OEM bimini? It’s so hard to put on by yourself, then once it’s mounted the Mastercraft boot is extraordinarily hard to get on. The zipper part works well, but the two velcro pieces in the middle are nearly impossible to get around the tower and back to together…. It also doesn’t feel like it is snug up to the tower very well; am I am idiot or does anyone else have these issues?
Also to clarify I am referring to the bimini on an '08 X2, same as I think '08-'10, I think in '07 it was lower and didn't attach to the tower...

Attach the velcro snaps, and zip the zippers to the tower first, then put the Bimini into its snaps, and out stretch it.
It's not that difficult. |

I am able to get the actual bimini on the tower and open but the boot is the pain in the A*S for storage.... thats the Velcro I can't get straped unless I pull really hard.

yeah the velcro is sucky. not saying i hate it but it could be easier. i don't have much problem with it because i'm a little stronger than most but my dad (who is the owner of the boat) has quite a bit of trouble with it

I actually like the current biminis and have found them easy to work with (though I do wish they offered more coverage or an extension).
