No story. Rod asked to be banned because he felt compelled to only post negative things on the site. His wish was granted and he is still poking around other sites on a regular basis.

Don't know if there are any other Audi enthusiasts, but last year the mods at audiworld.com were deleting threads and banning long time users with no reason, along with a change over in forum software the community revolted, quattroworld.com was born and over 80% of the active users moved to the new site within 48 hours.

Just like the audiworld community this forum community has evolved over years and years(I've only been a part of the past couple), any sudden changes(whether in rules, format, or moderator style) will force the community to go somewhere else where they can continue as they were.

Hopefully my post will not be deleted like several of my others were with no reason or rules broken!

Hey now, the last post (before yesterday) in the Brainey thread was 03-29-07. My join date was 09-16-08. I have an excuse.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.
