ZeroFlex Tower Pads...
I was thinking of replacing the tower gaskets (at the base where it meets the hull).
Is it even neccessary? They don't look like they do much to protect the hull. If I should change them - where to buy? Thanks.

M-Funf has made some replacements out of a durable material and Sodar has a set on his boat.
PM one or both of them.

where did you buy the new ones? Also, what size nuts hold the bolts that hold the tower?

M-Funf makes them from a mold he took from my tower.
The pads are guaranteed to fit ONLY Prostar 190/197's with the Zero-Flex Flyer Towers. I believe the first year of the 190/197 Hull was 2001 and the last year they used the Zero Flex Flyer Towers was 2007. These pads will work for both the full height and Mini Towers.

Thanks for the clarifications, Sodar.
I will add that it is very unlikely that I will make another set of molds for a different tower configuration. I can cast more parts from the same molds until they're used up, but making a new set of molds takes a lot of time and $$$.
