Need knob for tower mirror
I have a 2006 X2 and lost the know for my tower mirror. I don't want to spend a lot of money for a knob and I'm assuming that's the case if I get one from a dealer. Anyone have any better suggestions??

Someone that upgaded here should have an old one, I had 4 but have no idea what happened to then. I'll check the garage.

Stu, I could sure use a spare if you find those units in the garage... wife already dropped ours in the water this year (in the marina, so I was able to retrieve it).

Keep an eye on the mirror pins too. Finally got the bushiings glued in so they wouldn't fall out and darn near lost one of the pins this weekend.
In a pinch a bolt from the hdwr store would work.

Tower mirror bolts
After losing my mirror knob bolt on my first outing, I searched high and low to find them.
I am not sure of the correct size yet, but I am onto something here. Various manufacturers have these available. https://www.jergensinc.com/site/acco...?item_cd=21243 |

I ordered one last year from Midwest mastercraft. It was $37.95.

I lost one of those bushings. It was about $5.00 for the $0.15 part at the dealer. I knew they were loose but my wife remove the mirror while over water. Made it known that top of ramp is the place to be doing that stuff. Glued in with silicon before the next trip out.

Lowes or Home Depot should have a similar thumb screw.

I lost my mirror thumb screw and bushing this weekend. Am I stuck with a dealer purchse, or has someone found a source for these?
