What the F&$@ Master Craft

Pardon me while I vent.

So here is the issue. Master Craft no longer makes or sells decals for any boat older than about 4 years old so you cannot order then for older boats through your dealer and now they have ordered all companies or persons making replacement decals to cease their sales because of copy write infringement. I have talked to 3 different MC dealers and I get the same story, "nope can't get them". I call the companies that reproduce decals and I get the same answer, "Master Craft has asked us to stop selling there logo or we can be sued."

So what gives MC? How are your loyal consumers suppose to get parts?

This is my first Mastercraft and I'm already thinking about going back to a Malibu

I have been there had to have my 08 Star scanned and recreated. Expensive. Have you check Great Lakes Skipper? That or many will upgrade their boats with newer graphics.

Wish I could but MC won't let other parties make decals anymore. Great Lakes skipper has some decals but not the large side decals and ski boats.com has decals but they are for 2006-2009 which are not a color match for my boat. I like the look of the 2001-2005 decals like my boat has.

I can see not selling decals for some thing 25 years old but for a boat 10-15 years old, really?

I share the frustration

We also can't get tire covers, car stickers, nor is there much branded merchandise available.....

I really wish MC would either provide more of this type of branded material or allow outsiders to provide it.

MC by design also has a terrible website and doesn't always respond to emails or phone calls.

Cheers, Steve.

There are people, who shall remain un-named, who might know a guy, who might know a guy, that knows another guy, that can make the decals.

Do some snooping.

Probably be best to email a guy who has an email address in his signature line as this site is a MasterCraft run operation. Just sayin'
