Anyone near Princeton, Texas?

Hi all,

As I've mentioned on a few threads I'm currently looking to pick up a TriStar 220 (yes I know for a bit more money I can get a 205, but for now the price is right and the 220 has enough room for the family).

I've been looking at a few up in the Northern States but not having much luck yet. I found another one that looks interesting at:

The Trading Post Company
10610 Fulton Road
Princeton, Texas 75407

This one is a 1991 TriStar 220 walk around and it looks pretty clean from the pictures they have sent me so far.

So... I'm wondering if there is anyone in the area who would be willing and able to take a look at it for me and let me know if they see any big issues that may not come across in the pictures. I'm not expecting it to be perfect, it's 20 years old but obviously want to avoid and big issues.

I'll try to upload a pic to give you an idea of the shape.

Thanks
Nidus72

Walk-around,
Not exactly in high demand IMHO, but that might help you get a low price on it.
Just remember that when it's time for you to sell it later.
(It's sorta a red-headed stepchild in the MC lineup)

Thanks TayMC190 I'll try to get in touch with McLoven.

MC Maniac, red-headded stepchild, I like that. Maybe that's what I should name it if I get it I've been looking at both walk arounds and walk throughs. Basically I want the extra seating from the bow rider and can't swing a ton of extra cash right now since I just bought a house on the lake last year and dumped a ton of money into renos etc. I figure an old MC is better than a newer Moomba!

I'm in McKinney, 15 mins or less from the trading post. I should be able to swing by on Saturday if you need me too.

Trailer looks aftermarket....not MC. Of course, there are not a lot of these boats out there as well.

Lights are different and the bunker boards are in a vertical position rather than flat.

Yes vertical position. Good spot. So I would assume it doesn't conform to the subtle bends of the gelcoat?
