Virgina Beach/Langley

Anyone on here know if there is any fresh water skiing in the Va Beach/Langley area?

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

Why have you been waiting? It's a possibility not a sure thing.

I'm checking with my cousin that lives near there. She husband owns a company that puts electronics on the big boats.

BriEOD; Not encouraging:

I don't know of any fresh water skiing near hampton. The James isn't fresh water until above the fall line in Richmond. The York is all salt and the rivers around West Point are salt for quite a distance. Same for the Rappahannock. I can't think of lakes in that area either.

I drove thru there a couple of years ago and a small lake along the interstate caught my eye. Not sure if it is big enough and it may be private, but it looked to be fresh water and close to Langley.
Not sure, but this may be it.

Are you on the Potomac? How far of a drive from Carlisle, Pa?

Try lake Anna, just north of Richmond. Not exactly close to VA beach, but a great lake for skiing.
