hey john, i know this is a total longshot, but you think there's any way you guys could retrofit basic 04 racks or similar to the 03 frame/plate? the 03 racks were nice in their time, but doesn't take much to tweak one. also read stories of people launching fingers into the lake after getting swiped by the wake rope off the tower. explains their significant short run with MC and as you know they're pretty expensive to repair and even tougher to find replacements. i know i'd be down for picking up a pair, heck, i don't even care if they had bungees. seems like there'd be plenty of 2003 X series owners out there who would eventually need something like this. again, i know it's a long shot, but figured i'd post it.

Ski Sky Board Rack Just in Today!

I bought a 2003 X10 in 2007 and the board racks were gone when I bought it. I spent the summer of 2007 looking for racks and after Gere Marie offered me a pair for $800 and Mastercraft of Chicago offered me a pair for $600 and my local dealer offered me a pair for $2,495 (yes, you read that right), I bought two racks from Monster Tower for $500. Last Fall I picked up an original pair off of ebay for $300 -- and today, yes today, I got a pair from Sky Ski. My boat is 200 miles away in storage on my Dad's farm, so it will be a little time before I get them installed (likely first weekend in May), but if you're interested, I'll let you know how they work. Jake at Sky Ski was really nice and sent me several photos to help with the install. I was going to let everyone here know about the possible solution to the 2003 Gere Marie board rack issue, but I couldn't help but respond to the thread.

Yep, I am interested. Let me know how it works out for you. Pictures of them mounted would be great!
