Galssmaster, I think I am going to have to keep this one. I will pick up antoher S&S this fall and restore it. I am going to take alittle longer to finish it.

JP43, Thanks, the original carpet was dark brown verry hot on the feet.

Sometimes you have to suffer hot feet when style is involved! That observer's seat is sooo choice! It looks very art deco.

Jim, this looks amazing! I can't wait to see it installed... I think I might use yours as the design for mine within the next couple of years. Great design.

Just curious as to why you have the seats installed without the carpet in? Any reason behind that? Skins look great

cbryan70, Reason is I have to put the shaft in and strut,Fuel tank do some more motor work. After all that is done the last thing will be the carpet. I guess I dont want to get it all greasy and dirty. I just sat the new skins on so everyone could see what they look like. Thanks, Glad you like them.

Jim, sorry it has taken me so long to chime in. Haven't been near the computer for more than 5 minutes since Friday afternoon (babysitting my 9 yr. old nephew for the month). It was killing me not to check the thread. Let me start by saying THANK YOU FOR THE PICS!!!!!! That is just a flat out fantastic job!!! I have to say that looks like one helluva a job. If I had the money, it'd be worth it to send my stuff up there. That is just beautiful. I can't stop looking. I noticed your combing pads, i can't remember, did you make them or were they original to the boat?

Hey Ox, It is all good I have 2 boys I know how that goes. Yes they did a great job with the newseats and skins. I hooked up the sound system this weekend and it sure rocks I was in the boat all weekend in the shop jammin. For the combing pad's yes I had the original ones. But I cut new ones and added to them so I could install all 6.5 round speakers in them.
