Velvet Drive 70C & 71C Service Manual
Here's a link to the service manuals for the Velvet Borg Warner transmissions 70C and 71C. They are all in adobe format.


You can download these by doing a right click and "save file as" or "save target as"

Was unable to download service manual, got a message saying file is damaged.

Not sure why you are getting that. I just downloaded and it opens fine in Adobe.

Need LT-1 parts?
OIL FILTER: Factory installed is a Penzoil P23, Afta market brands, AC Delco PF-454 and a Fram PH-13 or PH-30 will work.
SPARK PLUGS: AC Delco MR43LTS (gapped to .040")
FUEL FILTERS: AC Delco 25171391 (pump inlet side)
89058397 (pump outlet side)
IGNITION WIRES: Call Inboard Online @ (877) 327-7175 and order part numbers 556010A (odd bank) and 556010B (even bank)

You need to right-click and save it to your computer rather then trying to open it online.

I have seen this time and time again. Some computers can't read the file exactly, so they throw up this error message. Try it on a different machine and you will be able to open it. Trust me.
