Homer, did you get it with the adhesive on it already?
Thanks! Yeah, I got the 3M adhesive backing. Made it really easy. Hopefully it will last and stay stuck!

Seems like the way to go. Can't ever remember complaining about the quality of 3M stuff.

It worked decent enough. I also used a Mother's Powerball in the tough reach places and on the stern. I had a couple spots and scratches that I hit with some 3M Rubbing compound first and then the Finesse IT. I'm happy with the results!
whats the difference in the finesse it and this stuff? I have a slight color change on the white from where I took off the PO's registration decals. Would the finesse it do the trick?

My understanding is the Finesse It is not as abrasive and more of a polish to remove swirls and light scratches. I believe the color/gloss restorer has more grit in it to remove heavier oxidation. I could be very wrong, but that was my take away. Someone please correct me if that's not the case.

I used the Finesse It as I had a decent shine and very little oxidation or discoloring. I wanted to get the smooth glass look.

I hit submit too soon

I don't know if the Finesse IT would go deep enough to get the color change. I think a good rubbing compound or the color restorer would penetrate deeper. I've also read quite a few posts about wet sanding and then using the Finesse It to get the finish back to smooth and shiny. That might be the better route.
