Well started some of my winter projects. I check my risers annually - cuz boat is 18 years old and manifolds and risers are original. All looks good - - new inline fuel filter before fuel pump. Crappy location of screw that holds down rear deck panel gave way so will repair with polyester resin and glass.

Will fill water jacket with RV Antifreeze tomorrow..

What Work did you do on your Mastercraft Today?

Hung my new uprights and shelves on the garage wall above the stern. The shelves are for life jackets, ski ropes and handles and other gear. Looks good! Inspected my manifolds and risers. Risers are rotten, but the manifolds will be fine with some evaporust. Also have exhaust hoses on order. Also drained the water out of the block just in case it gets cold before I put it back together. Oh and a couple days ago I put two or three applications of teak oil on the platform and did some small repairs (couple boards loose, secured them) ;-)

Thanks. It's Rubbermaid fast track. You know its funny. Reading the reviews on their site, a bunch of people complain about how hard it is to set up. I don't get it. It's easy as pie! Just takes a little thinking and paying attention.

I go with the theory that the average person is a complete idiot. Those reviews and your words make my point.

Lol! Then again, the average person doesn't own 29 year old (and in your case older) boats! Maybe we're mentally challenged! But at least we know how to put up shelves!

Some people are so dense. Read reviews of resorts. People have nothing but great things to say about the resort, but complain about the weather and give the place two stars. Makes you want to slap people.

Tried to hold off - but no more opportunities to go out before holidays... block is winterized. Thanks to all I learned on this site. While tinkering around I must have knocked off my IAC connector - RPMS on start at idle while warming up were 1200 rpm... Shut off engine and noticed loose plug - at IAC - reconnected and RPMS's dropped back to normal.

Tomorrow will change oils -

Will give shaft a quick alignment inspection tomorrow...as put her to bed...

Time to revive the "what you do in the off season" thread..
