Those wheels look great, if I do say so myself. You need a piece of aluminum to space your spare tire out a bit.

Yeah, I was going to get some washers to space them out, but opted for a whiskey drink and bed time instead.

Applied Mastercraft decals to the trailer and new stars on the motor box. Pictures of stars later. I had to cover up the boat because it was starting to drizzle.

Washed with vinegar water and got the water spots off then buffed a little and waxed it up getting ready for the next 3 days at the lake!

Bow Roller

Not today, but added a keel roller to the trailer a few weeks ago.

The PO let the keel get into pretty bad shape. The nylon pad had been worn through as well as the carpet that he installed over it. I had the keel repaired and promptly replaced the keel pad. It did not take long to see that the new pad would soon be wearing through as well, so the plan was hatched.

Although several, more elaborate ideas were floated around, in the end, simplicity was the winner. Made some mounting brackets to be welded to the existing cross member and installed the roller. Notched the old pad to fit around the brackets so that the pad could be installed as a just in case. Boat has been launched several time since and all is well so far.

I bought the parts from Kendor Marine. They are local to me but also have a web store.
