Forgot the pics. Original Blue/Black carpet, looks OK in pics but showing 25 years of wear in spots. Pulled up rather cleanly.

Pulled the boat out of the garage and gave the engine some run time. Rebuilt the carb over the winter and this was the second start since then. Three pumps of the throttle and she started immediately and settled into a good idle - guess the rebuild was successful!

Adjusted the idle air screws and idle. Got the best vacuum (about 17.5") at the standard 1.5 turns out. Any more than that and the vacuum didn't improve any. Also checked the engine timing and was right at 10 deg BTDC.

All I need now is to put her in the water - hopefully next Thursday will be the first spring outing. Throwing in a photo to show the recently refinished platform in the semi-sun.

Ah, satisfaction!!!

Lets see. Replaced five lug bolts on one side of the trailer. It was getting annoying carrying around two wrenches (lugs were different sizes before). A couple days ago I re packed the bearings on both sides. I also bought hold down straps to hold the stern of the boat down on the trailer (boat didn't come with any). I've still got to buy a spare carrier to attach to the trailer frame rail. And a small jack for the trailer. Slowly getting it shipshape lol.
