Carpet Replaced

Finally finished a complete carpet replacement. Stern to bow, just couldn't see leaving any old crap up there. Corinthian Marine carpet, Greystone. While it was out, chased down and found a leak coming from the exhaust hose at the thru-transom flange. Removed exhaust system complete including manifolds, risers, hoses, & mufflers. Had manifolds and risers tanked, magnafluxed, and decked the mating surfaces. Painted those with some 1400 degree high heat paint. Replaced the upper exhaust hoses.

Looks like a lot of folks are replacing their carpet this spring including me (new carpet ordered and on the way). Any recommendations on carpet glue?

So I had a pair of Mastecraft board racks I got from a buddy a few years back. I was using them in my basement to hold our older wakeboards. I had an extra BFI boom clamp that came with the 190 we bought last fall.

We are more footers than wakeboards but with the kiddos having wakeoards now, the boat is gonna get crowded with gear fast.

So by using the board racks, the BFI clamo and $5 worth of parts from HD, I came up with the following...should get the job done.

@ MikeyOrange88: Awesome work. Looks fantastic. That is MCOCD at its finest.

@ Rockman: Sweet setup on the racks.

Good work. If I could make one suggestion..... you might want to see if you can get acorn nuts for those bolts. Seems like you could skin your knuckles on the threads.

Great idea! Once I put the rubber gasket material between the clamp and the pole, I will adjust the bolts and get the acorn nuts.
