Is putting trailer up on blocks a common practice?

No idea, never done it in the past 25 yrs. But those were tandem trailers. New tires this summer, maybe just OCD or was bored. No one will be in this garage until early May, so no need to move anything around. Have a buddy who does this with his classic cars while in storage.

The cleats were a pain to remove because I put some blue loctite on them at the beginning of the summer. I still have to get the forward port cleat off and take care of the cracks around it. It's the most difficult one to get to, so I'm not looking forward to that.

Got the initial sanding done on the patched gelcoat. I ended up patching/sanding a couple of times. I'm not sure what happened the first time, maybe too much hardener or not enough, but a lot of the cracks reappeared after I sanded it down. I got out the dremel and removed the cracked gelcoat and then patched it again. After that there were still a few low spots, so I had to patch it a little more. I still have to do some more wetsanding and then buff and polish, but I'm pretty happy with it so far.

That is the second best thing you can do for your tires if the off season lasts a while. Best thing, of course, is to get them out of the sun.

Good for your springs if you support the trailer by the frame.

Should be pretty nice. I left alot of texture in the "x9" and the "mastercraft" is nice and glossy. Now just need to get my shields and transom done. Got these far cheaper than others quoted in the area and wanted to verify quality
