They seem pretty bright in a dark garage but I’ve not done a “real” test yet. Backing down my long driveway in the dark has historically been challenging so I think just about anything is going to help. We use the boat all winter so before too long we will be coming home in the dark… hasn’t happened just yet. It was a pretty easy job … most challenging part was fishing the wires down the trailer channels … and that was not all that hard. Total cost about $60ish (lights, wire, light fixture connectors, 5 pin trailer wiring pig tail, 7pin to 5 pin adapter, wire splice connectors, shrink tubing) and 3ish hrs of time. S

What I have found with my trailer is the lights help at the ramps. It just seems second nature to look for back-up lights and it helps people figure out your intentions. I also like that they light up the person helping direct when I am backing up in tight spots.

Speaking of lights...our new trailer has runway lights but this also shows how much light the reverse shows,.

Not sure why they are sideways..

Really like the runway lights even though they hurt my neck.

Pulled everything out from bow storage, replaced heater vent hoses on heater, started scheming about how to secure skis, vests and gear in the bow in an organized manner. There was a post somewhere on Teamtalk about using nylon webbing to run straps from side to side to support skis off the floor under the bow, but I can't find it now.
