Finally ordered the faux teak pad from seadek and put it on today. Took about 2 hours. Pad cost $315 i think and took about 3 weeks to have it delivered. Hardest part was getting all the old rubber residue off. A razor blade was the MVP of the process to get off all that junk. So here it is:

Boat Buckles.

Not too shabby.

Anybody protecting gel coat from the attaching hardware with anything? The metal hooks are coated but I imagine they could rub boat under a long tow.

I have to redo the pin striping and buff out the paint before the season!

Such a money pit!

I put them on my trailer recently. I plan on running the straps up through the slat in the gang plank, keeping it away from the gel surface.

Hey lumbergh..I installed boat buckles too - luv them... I run them thru my teak plat form...

Some clear 3M film would offer the needed protection when pulling the trailer without your platform.
