Last work I did was on labor day, pulled boat, cleaned old grease out of trailer, full winterization, bilge cleaning, battery disconnect and trickle charged. And then I put the boat away for the winter.
I really need to find a ski club to join for some fall/spring skiing before season. |

Changed the motor oil and V-drive oil this morning, then found water leaking from the main circulating pump.......so pulled it off and now waiting for the new one to arrive.

Took it to the lake, taught another couple of kids to kneeboard, ran into a friend on his jetski, brought it home, pulled everything out of the boat, removed all the seat cushions and took it to the car wash to get rid of the sand from Lake Powell from a couple weeks ago. Tomorrow, I'll be drying it out.
High temperature today: 100 degrees. No winterizing for me yet. /frank

Installed new green impellers. Nothing to it. Had the cursed yellow ones and they were well worn. Can't wait to try them out!

Oh yea, had a big tear in my cover where one of the transom straps attaches to the factory boat cover. Hand-stitched it back up using heavy upholstery thread. Once finished sewing, I coated the underside of the repairs with seal cement. I've used seal cement before to help to a repair and it works great. Better than dropping $1k or whatever for a new cover.

I ripped around a bit in mine. Burned a little gas in the process. Glass calm water...the only bad part is I'm nursing a pulled hamstring.
