Ok..went out and bout new bolts for the thermostat housing.. found the gasket and bolt kit on http://www.inboardonline.com/

http://store.inboardonline.com/iwwid...ti_item_submit

Got some Permatex ultra copper sealant for the imperfections mating surfaces....checked bolts on alternator and sprayed with penetrating oil so I can change belt easily in the spring...

Oh I did use a heat gun on the exhaust flaps to get them back in to their original shape....

Removed the old firewall partition between the driver and passenger compartment under the deck. Cut a new firewall out of 3/4" ply. Still need to coat with resin and carpet. The other partition divider was not much to write home about.

I need a stronger backing to mount amps.... What was there was OK but not what I would want to hang additional equipment on. The boat itself is like new. I will shampoo the floor carpet. I was just looking to recarpet the partition itself over the top of the plywood. I'll put the back seat in around Feb and have a few cold bNeers...
