WaterSki Apparel...
I've been thinking about this the past few days while I've been converting my office into a nursery for the little fellow coming via the stork REAL soon. Their is baby apparel for anything you can think of. Have any of you been in Babies 'R' US? The Home Depot of Baby stuff. You can find any kinds of sports but no water ski stuff, ***!? People keep giving us baseball stuff, I am not big into baseball but where are the little outfits with ski boats, slalom skiers and wakeboarders? I found surfing and just regular boats, but no skiing. Anyone care to comment, MarkP, Jimmer...Rick (LMFAO!).

Didn't somebody sell a bunch of MasterCraft jumpers on the old board at some point?

Thanks Nick! If I had something I would ATTEMPT to bring him home from the hospital in it. Wouldn't that make a good photo for the Star. Although my wife would probably kill me, but what the hell...

Sorry - I was on Vacation (skiing all week really is a bummer) away from any "real" (read: other than dial-up) internet access since the 12th.
Anyway - I feel your pain.... Imagine having a "rugged" Girl and don't want her wearing pink all the time. There is NOTHING out there. Old Navy does have some cool rash guards & board shorts for the 24 month old range. Still no skiers though. Best we were able to do is the Team Mastercraft bag is now a Diaper bag. 1 word of advice... 16 oz Nalgine (or eddie Bauer Carbon) bottles work great for trips. Since they don't taste like the last thing in them - they are the sh!t for formula, milk (ovaltine), juice, etc. Use that to fill up the sippy cups. If you find anything pls post... we hope to have another in a couple of years.

Thanks Jim.
Yeah, I was telling Mark in another thread we had the shower yesterday. We had to buy a new crib, dresser etc. Big sister is 7 and has a bunk bed. The crib has been gone for years. So, the past 2 weekends I've converted my home office in a nursery. You know the drill patch and fill, sand, paint, clean carpets, hang wall border, put furniture together. Actually, I'm not complaining I'm pretty excited. All except the diaper detail. I keep telling my daughter she can change poopy diapers, she is like "yeah right dad!" Anyhow, if I find some cool stuff I'll let you know. I'm off to Babies 'R' Us for a crib mattress. |
