Great- Another Noob on the River

Meaning me. Well not so much a noob, but its been twenty years since I sold my old boat. Decided it was time to get rid of my street bike and do even more family stuff (still have my dirt bike...I'm not crazy). So, after an exhaustive search, I picked up a used X-Star yesterday. Interior isn't perfect, but its one nice ride. I'll probably be pestering you guys quite alot about how the various naughty bits on the boat work.

Can't go wrong with a X Star... It's like riding a bike. Welcome back

Awesome looking boat. With that, you will not look like a noob at all.

Just don't go into a glassy cove with skiers and do figure 8's pulling a tube -- and don't do a 360 degree power turn to go pick up a skier-boarder etc who is not in trouble -- and no one will ever even consider you might be a noob

Welcome! Nice boat and pretty imposing looking tow vehicle (urban assault vehicle?)!!

Hmmm...it won't let me post a pic of the EM50 Urban Assault Vehicle from Stripes...

Thanks HrK. Its a Sportsmobile with the Sportsmobile 4x4 conversion. Seats six, sleeps four, keeps beer cold, let's me microwave a hot pocket and it loves to do this in Baja:

Almost don't need a boat ;-)

Awesome!! Your truck is listed as one of "The Ten Best Post-Apocalyptic Survival Vehicles" on this site:

http://jalopnik.com/360213/the-ten-b...vival-vehicles

I found it when I Googled "urban assault vehicle." Picture below.

People give me shlt for having two Excursions, but I think I need to trade one in on a Sportsmobile 4x4 to really piss off the greeners where I live!!

Now the "greeners" wouldn't be chapped if you drove a VW Westfalia, right? That's what I used to have, but it didn't have the stones to pull my dune buggy very well (plus no AC). The Sporty, with its 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel, gets better mileage than my former Westy, and does what I need it to do. The greenies can put that in their bongs and smoke it, I say.
