Pylon Loose...in A 1991 Pro Star 190

I Use An Extended Pylon From Barefoot International...and Noticed That The Stock Pylon In The Boat Has Some "play" In It....is There A Way To Tighten It Back Down Good? Any Tips?

Thanks!
Jay

My pylong was starting to creak and pop and just tightened it up a couple days ago. Not sure if yours is exactly like mine, but it was very easy. I has able to get to the bolts via the bilge. The ones that had worked loose on mine were the upper ones that attached the pylon to the metal bracing at the floor level. Now it is rock solid again.

Yes, open the engine cover and tighten the bolts

On my '93 205 you could remove a small piece of floorboard just around the pylon. That will give you much better access to the bottom of the pylon.
