New 2009 X2 has arrived!!
Now we just need the ice to soften up a bit in the midwest....

Special thanks to the Corey and the crew at Midwest Mastercraft for the custom decals and additional ballast install!!!

Can't wait for spring- Suck My Wake III will be ready to rock!!

congrats! great looking boat.

dumb question but that looks a heck of a lot like the supra "liquid force" edition.

It does!! Liquid Force has a marketing agreement with Supra, hence their custom boats. The look nice-

Actually, I am the regional sales rep for Liquid Force and have been doing promotional Mastercrafts for years. The guys at Midwest MC are always awesome about helping me dress up the boats each year and the 2009 is no exception!!

like i said, it looks great.

can you tell us about the custom ballast upgrade that they did. i am looking to add more to my 07 x2

The good news is that MC added size to the internal ballast for 2009.

On top of that, in my 2007 and 2008, they added additional soft bag ballast into each of the storage compartments. The soft bags get plummed into the stock ballast plummbing, eliminating the need to use portable pumps. It takes about 4 minutes to completely fill/drain the stock and additional ballast.

It works great!!! I am estimating that each of the bags gives an additional 750lbs of extra ballast. Really nice for surf and wakeboard setups.

Having soft bags allows you to still use the strorage areas in the rear when the ballast is not needed.

roonie did a great write up on adding additional fly high bags. my main concern is the ballast pump timers.

The dealer can re-set the timers for you or provide instructions.
It was pretty easy to do-
