Life Vest

Question. I am looking for a life vest for my wife. she has gotten into boarding more lately but complains about the vest i got for her. It rides up when she is floating. Its a HO neoprene, but I think its actually a male vest so the larger arm holes could be partly to blame. Her problem is that she is very petite and has big boobs. I have seen the womens vest with "form fitted" chest i guess you'd call it. My problem is looking online, i can only find vest like that but are not USCG approved. Do they make USCG approved vest like that? Any help from the ladies on here or, guys, spouse / girlfriends' advice would be greatly appreciated!

Probably going to need pictures to make a proper suggestion.

My wife has an older O'Neil vest. I think it is the "Outlaw."
Best thing to do would be to go to your local Proshop and try a few on.

My wife has a Hyperlite Neoprene vest and she also has big boobs and had alot of problems finding a vest that fit comfortably. I finally got it for her this year and ordered it from Overtons and she has not had any complaints so far. Her other vests were an Obrien and an Oneill vest which did not quite work so well. Could take a little time and fitting to find that "right" vest for bigger chested women. Good Luck !!

My girlfriend, also blessed with a petite body and big boobs (albeit artificial) wears an H.O. and it seems to fit pretty well, at least I think so.

We just got my wife one of these from Mike @ Chicago MasterCraft. Fits like a glove (same type of build as your wife), and is nice looking (IMO) to boot. It IS USCG approved.

If you want a low tech/low cost solution get her one of those cheaper nylon vests with the three buckle straps on it. I keep one or two of those around for when we have people that are difficult to fit. With those you can cinch up the various straps as needed to accomodate various sized body parts.
