1999 Maristar 230VRS engine hatch switch

The engine compartment motor appears to be completely dead. No sound comes from it when I engage the hatch switch. Is there a circuit breaker/fuse for this? What are the steps to troubleshoot?

Mine has a circuit breaker just to the rear of the hatch switch. Looks like a little black button just push it in. Is your Battery good? Try connecting the two wires on the switch together if the switch is bad it should work if your getting power to the switch.
