Holy Carp!! '06 rudder...
You big-boat rudder folks weren't kidding about the effect of the '06 rudder on the big boats. It's not even the same boat from a handling perspective. It doesn't pull at all - absolutely dead neutral - and it steers with one finger throughout the entire speed range. It steers easier than my 350 I/O, which has true power steering.

I am amazed!!

I would consider that rudder to be a highly desirable upgrade to the last few model-year X30/230VRS.

I will second Bigmac's thoughts. I just got done putting my X30 on my boat lift but took it out for the first time this year. I installed the '06 rudder a few days ago and tested it today. This is a totally new boat. It handles like my '95 PS205. This thing is great and worth every penny and then some.

That is awesome! So glad you guys are enjoying the upgrade. I am still amazed at how much better the steering is, glad you are finding the same improvement!

Can all the pre-2002(or 3) owners join? We got the 06 rudders as standard equipment.

You mention big boat guys. Which boats come with the larger rudder?
