Trailer fit question

A friend of mine has a '95 PS205 that he keeps on a lift. He is looking at a tandem axle MC trailer, the seller indicates it is for a 235. Would this trailer work for his 205? How strange would it look or ride? Any help is appreciated.

The boats aren't even remotely similar. Length, width, hull type (stepped), weight, center of mass (v-drive vs direct drive). It would likely take a lot of work to make it fit, welding and carpentry.

Thanks for the quick response. I didn't think they would be similar enough, but I am not familiar enough with the 235 hull design or measurements to be able to address it like you did.
