I just installed a new fuel sending unit in my 1991 PS190. It works but says I have 1/2 tank when I know it's closer to 1/4 or less. There are two little, what look like adjustment screws on the top of the sending unit. I assume one is the full and one the empty adjustment.
Do I want to adjust when full or Is there a sequence I should adjust them? Or should I not touch them and see what happens after a day on the water. |

I have not seen a sender with adjustment screws. Generally there are mounting screws and positive / negative for the sender. The adjustment is usually physical by the height and length of the float arm (sometimes a bend) on the sender.
