older model engine hatch vent
Whats up TMC! Long time no talk. I have been super busy with things and went almost a whole year without TT! Crazy... I wouldn't recommend it. haha But, I am back, and back to stay!
Anyways, I am looking for an older model engine hatch vent for a customer. It will probably be a hard find, however I figure this is the best place to start my search. I have attached a picture of said vent, cause I know how much everyone loves pictures!! haha Thanks -Sam

There was a thread on here awhile back and someone used a stainless steel vent cover and stainless cup holders. I copied the idea and it turned out great. I know pictures, pictures, pictures, but I don't have any here at work. I had a hard time finding an original replacement and when I did, the price was ridiculous. Good luck on your search.

Two years ago I got mine from Rambo marine.
it was about 200.00 and all they had was black. I sprayed it with Vynil paint ( white ) from NAPA and it looked great. If I had to do it again. I would do it like CMW said. that one came out after I did mine, and it looked a lot better.

rem, that's not that bad. I was seeing used ones for $250. Since I was reupholstering anyways, I was able to make some changes. If the upholstery was in good shape it would have been worth the $200 for me to just replace. I think I spent $60 on the stainless, but so much more on the upholstery.

He used a vinyl repair epoxy, then he used a vinyl paint. Didn't take long.
