How much gas do a X-star burn?

Just wondering how much gas a X-star would burn in an hour of wakeboarding? My prostar burns about 5 gallons/hour when wakeboarding.

Well, I don't have the xstar, but the x2 with an MCX in it. The other day I had full ballast, 300 lbs sack up front 6 people in the boat and one riding. We probably rode for about 3 hours straight and went thru 15 gallons.

Weight in the boat is the key factor... if just 2 people in the boat and just cruising with no ballast it is very good

MCX in 08 Xstar running about 1500 to 2000 lbs of ballast will get 6 to 8 gph. 75 hours this year has averaged 6.91 gph.

that's why all my friends know to chip in $15 each to the short lakes and $25 per person to the lakes that are about an hour drive from here. That's a VERY small ammount to ask for the quality of fun you will have.
