Teak is toast. Where to get a new (used) one?

The Teak platform on my 97 190 Sammy is toast. Does anyone know where to get a good deal on a new (or good condition used) one?
Thanks

I just orderd one from Teak World (615) 444-7269 for my '90 Maristar. Has not arrived yet, should be here at the end of the week. Cost about $300.00 plus shipping. Have seen only good remarks about this company. If you dont do anything for a week or so, I'll let you know how everything went.

I think they are in Lebanon, TN which is East of Nashville. Aren't they the ones that supply MC with platforms? I need to get up there and get a transom saver!

Thanks, I'm in Franklin so I might be able to pick it up my self. Thanks to both of you for the help.
Curt

PS - If you're still there, what is a transom saver?

Just got the platform and it looks awesome! Unfortunately I won't be able to install until next week.... I HAVE to take the family to a beach house (Mission Beach next to the volleyball courts) in San Diego for a 5 day weekend..... http://www.sdvr.com/A2705.html

WillamsFamLV,

Nice picture of the beach house. Could we get a picture of the new platform?

I think that's what it's called... You have me second guessing myself.
It is a piece that attaches to the transom side of the platform. I just prevents dings to the transom from skis and such.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.
