Carb drips from back bowls!

Weird cab behavior! Holley 4160 runs great all day, then suddenly does want to idle. Look down the carb and gas is dripping in secondaries during idle, what the heck????

dripping gas

I had the same problem last year. The floats are probably the issue. I my case the round disks that hold the assembly in place loosened. I pressed them in all the way and applied some epoxy. That solved the problem.

Yup, sounds like some stuck floats in the open position. The floats could have gotten pin holes in them and now they are full of gas and won't rise, could be sticking. It is pretty easy to pull apart and rebuild. Takes about an hour and a clean workspace.
