Exclamation Newbie introducing himself -HELLO!!!

Hello!!

My name is Don, and I am a newbie here. A bit about me: I am located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. SInce I was a young boy seeing the Tommy Barlett Water show in Wisconsin Dells I have dreamed of owning a Mastercraft Ski boat. My parents were waterskiers, and taught me to ski at age 12. I learned to slalom at age 16. My buddies and I skied through high school and college and then we kind of got out of it. Anyway, to make long story short, I gained lots of weight and couldnt ski, so a few years ago I changed my life and lost 125 lbs and got in shape again. I was able to ski again being at 190 lbs and healthy. so I skied the last few summers bumming rides off people I knew at the beach. That started a fire inside me to ski again that I couldnt stop. I realized I could really ski again, and I wanted to get back into it. I have had alot of issues happend in my life with my family in the last year, my Dad had prostate cancer, my uncle died of lung cancer, and I just realized that life is SHORT, you gotta make the most of it while you can. We may not be here tomarrow, so I said "hey! I am 32 yrs old, I am in shape and healthy, I can afford a boat, WHY NOT! I am not getting any younger!" I vowed once long ago that if I EVER owned another boat, it would be a Mastercraft. I bought myself a Mastercraft boat a few weeks ago after a long search. Its a 1991 Prostar 190 with the 351 and Powerslot pkg. Its a very sweet boat in excellent shape. I found this site while searching for info about Mastercrafts in general and it looked like a great site to join. I am a guitarist also, and I belong to a web board with a bunch of guitar enthusiats that are interested in Jackson guitars, anyway the site and people are terrific and full of valueable info, so I know the value of a great web community. Being a newbie, and this being my first Mastercraft, I probably wont be able to contribute much to you people that know much more than me about Mastercrafts, but I promise I will try my best to contribute what I can and be a good member here. I hope to learn alot and have fun here. I hope to make a few friends and meet some MC and Slalom enthusiats too. I have posted some pics of my baby here, and I uploaded some to my gallery, so please check them out. I hope this all works with the photos, I am new here, so please bear with me if I have technical probs posting. Feel free to say hello! and if your in my general area, give me a shout, mabye we can hook up and ski sometime. Thanks!!!

I must agree with Brian on this one... The only thing I contribute is being "THE LIST" and Underground President!!!

Welcome aboard
