Speedos

The two speedos on my 87 prostar have some cracks in the glass. does anyone know if you can fix this or where to get a good-looking replacement?

Anything to do with speedos, cracks, and "good-looking" should keep most away from this thread!

Do a search on ebay for Mastercraft, I often see gauges for sale there.

I don't mean to threadjack here, but.... I replaced the pickups on the speedos and now they both register speed, but not the correct speed. New hose or is there something I should be looking for in the gauge? My wife had me wake boarding close to 40mph in chop. I thought she was trying to collect life insurance.

There should be a small black knob on each speedometer that allows you to adjust the speed. This is most accurately done with a GPS. Also, you may notice that the speedometers are off at speeds different than your baseline speed, so you may want to set each speedometer at a different speed (i.e. 20 MPH for boarding and 36 MPH for skiing).

If your speedos look like this, (my black knob has a red vinyl cap on it), but that's what Chicago190 is refering to as the adjustment screw.
