Boat Cover 94 Prostar 190 w/ Pro X Wakeboard Tower

I'm looking to get a new cover for my 94 prostar 190. I'm also going to be installing a tower soon so I'm not sure if I need a custom cover or not? Has anyone out there bought a standard cover and then modified it for their tower? Any direction would be much appreciated.

Boat Cover

I had trouble finding a reasonably priced custom cover for my 2000 ProStar 205 w/tower. On someone from this forum's advice, I went to skiboatcovers.com. They custom built my cover (it incorporates the tower) for $515.00! I was a little skeptical but it is an awesome cover and it fits perfectly. It also came with three adjustable standoff poles that snap onto the underside of the cover. (I already had straps--you may have to order straps separately) The whole thing is great. I had a local guy quote me $1200. It rained like crazy for three days after I put it on and not a drop got inside the boat. Check them out. I looked for a long time for a deal like this. I also tried to get a generic cover to work and it was a total waste of time. Good luck!

I forgot to mention, you probably need the tower installed first because the measurements they take over the phone are from the nose to each of the tower legs and it has to be exact. It was at my door about 5 days after I ordered.

either that, order the cover from skiboatcovers and later when you put a tower on it you can simply take it to a canvas shop and they can make the cutouts for you.

2nd the quality of the covers they have.

I have a PS190 with a 13th floor tower. I just bought a cover for it and I'm having it modified to fit my tower. If all works out, would you be interested in having your cover modified?
